I've picked up several compilations his year on the subject of Functional medicine, holistic wellness and herbal healing but this is my FAVORITE of the bunch. It starts by laying the groundwork on the 4 phases of healing your body goes through - recognition, decontamination, reconstructions and resolution, followed by the 5 primary health pillars, or systems that need to be addressed: Immune, Nervous, detoxification, digestive and endocrine. The remainder of the read discusses 20 key herbal solutions that can be concocted to deliver real healing to these 5 systems and return them to homeostasis. This book also has fantastic formatting which makes it easy to read and digest. I highly recommend.

So much more depth and complete information than I've encountered in any other natural healing handbook. So much information, practical suggestions, and lots of great herbal insights and what is expected also. The layout and photos are breathtaking.
